"Secrets of the Vatican," a FRONTLINE presentation co-produced by Pulitzer Center grantee Jason Berry, airs on Tuesday, February 25 at 10pm on PBS. This special 90-minute episode by award-winning director Antony Thomas explores the "threats and scandals that challenged Benedict's papacy—a far-reaching sex abuse crisis; money-laundering and corruption at the Vatican Bank; and Vatileaks—the release of internal documents revealing cronyism, power struggles and allegations of blackmail within the Holy See," states the FRONTLINE news release.

In addition to his work with FRONTLINE, Berry is an author and Pulitzer Center grantee who has reported on the Vatican's investigation of American nuns accused of "radical feminism" in his Pulitzer Center-supported project, The Vatican and the Nuns. On assignment for GlobalPost and National Catholic Reporter, Berry traveled to Rome and Germany to explore this investigation, what caused it and the issues that lie ahead. In April 2014, Berry visits Pulitzer Center Campus Consortium partners, Wake Forest University, Guilford College and High Point University.
