This workshop primarily focused on the art of photography and addressed the technical issues of photography. It emphasized getting it right "in camera" as opposed to post-processing, but both were covered.
Another goal of this workshops is to teach what you need to know to effectively continue teaching yourself.

Torrey Meeks, a finalist in YouTube's and the Pulitzer Center's first-ever reporting contest, was published by the Washington Times today. Meeks, who lives in Las Cruces, New Mexico, was hired as a stringer after meeting with David Jones, managing editor of the Times, during a dinner hosted by the Pulitzer Center last month.

GlobalPost.com, a new for-profit and online journalism outlet, launched last week with a bold mission: Reestablishing traditional international journalism values in the digital age. The Pulitzer Center is pleased that original reporting from its own journalist grantees will be featured on GlobalPost.
The Washington Post Weekend insert features the Project:Report award ceremony and reception as part of their PrimeTime "3-Hour Weekend."
The event is from 7 - 9 PM Sunday night at American University's Greenberg Theatre.
