Pulitzer Center Update

Students Pose Questions About the Middle East Strategy Task Force

Students at Pulitzer Center partner schools and universities have engaged with Middle East policy issues via Pulitzer-supported journalism and also the Middle East Strategy Task Force, an initiative of the Atlantic Council's Rafik Hariri Center that was co-chaired by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and former National Security Advisor Stephen J. Hadley.

Albright and Hadley are presenting the task force report at a diverse mix of Pulitzer Center schools and universities, from Washington University in St. Louis to the Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia. In preparation for their visit students at several of the schools have studied the task force report—and offer their own views and concerns as to what comes next in the Middle East.

Many thanks to students from Nerinx Hall High School in Webster Groves, Missouri; Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in Chicago; and Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia.
