The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting is co-hosting several skill building sessions for the Women Deliver Conference's Young Leaders at the Washington Convention Cener at 801 Mount Vernon Place NW, Washington, DC 20001-3614.
These sessions will discuss various ways and tools to communicate advocacy messages, including through multimedia (video, music, photography, etc); blogging and new media/web; radio and tv; and mobile technology.
We will work through these skills in a "World Café" style workshop – there will be 5 different tables with hosts to facilitate a discussion on the specified tool. The Young Leaders will spend 15 minutes at each station, and then rotate through all 5 stations. The hosts will discuss how, when, and why to use these skills/methods.
