Meet the Journalist: Hassan Ghedi Santur

In Somalia, thousands of children, mostly boys, have defected or have been rescued from the terrorist group al-Shabab. Journalist Hassan Ghedi Santur wanted to know what happens to these young men. Are they able to put their lives back together after what is often a violent and traumatic experience? And how are they treated by their families, their communities, and by society at large once they return to civilian life?
