Meet the Journalist: Lisa Palmer

Many of Colombia’s rural areas have experienced conflict over 52 years of civil war. Now scientists are working to inventory remote areas and inform rural development plans in a way they hope will guarantee social and environmental sustainability and smooth post-conflict tensions.
