An outbreak of preventable and largely eradicated diseases has overwhelmed an already buckling health system as Yemen inches closer to becoming a failed state. However, despite the catastrophic effects of the war on civilians and the support for the war by the United States and other world powers, coverage of the conflict has been minimal.
