Tomas van Houtryve's project "Borderline North Korea" will be featured as part of Visa pour l’Image 2013 on September 4 in Perpignan, France.

The photographs are part of Tomas's project "Borderline: In the Shadow of North Korea" which looks at the restrictions and distortions of journalism in North Korea. Tomas photographed along the border of North Korea follows the North-South Korean border and the DMZ trying to see beyond North Korea's meticulously orchestrated fictions.
