Politico foreign affairs correspondent Nahal Toosi participates in the 2018-2019 Flagler Forum on Government and Public Policy on September 11, 2018, speaking on "The Rohingya Crisis: Lessons and Laments."

Toosi plans to bring her Pulitzer Center-supported reporting on the U.S. response and policy decisions to the Rohingya crisis forward with updates from her more recent reporting.

Toosi's participation in the Forum is part of her two-day visit to Flagler College, one of the Pulitzer Center's Campus Consortium partners. During her time on campus, she also plans to meet with students and faculty during several Question & Answer sessions as well as informal conversations.

At Politico, Toosi writes about foreign policy and national security, particularly the political challenges posed to the United States by the global migration crisis. Before joining Politico, Toosi worked for The Associated Press and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, where she covered higher education, migration and refugee issues, and has reported from placements across the globe.

The Flagler Forum lecture is free and open to the public.
