Habiba Nosheen Delivers Keynote Lecture at ASU Summit on Women's Issues

Pulitzer Center grantee Habiba Nosheen will deliver the keynote lecture at Womanity, a summit on global women's issues held at Arizona State University. Organized by the student organization, Woman as Hero, the summit will explore a variety of pressing global issues that women and men face in the world today regarding domestic violence, feminism, honor killings, educational and economic opportunities, media and health. Woman as Hero hopes to not only inform and engage attendees but to also encourage a spirit of social justice and activism to take up the struggle for equality and dignity for all.

Habiba Nosheen is an award-winning journalist whose work highlights international women's issues. She is currently at work on a documentary about a young girl in Pakistan who survived threats of honor killing.
