Saturday, November 14, 2015 - 04:30pm EST (GMT -0500)

Several thousand teachers travel to New Orleans Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14, for the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS) Annual Conference. NCSS seeks to promote engagement in the social studies by students and professionals in education. This year, Pulitzer Center staffers Nathalie Applewhite, Mark Schulte and Amanda Ottaway attend the conference to share our new Lesson Builder tool and give presentations—one on the use of storytelling in promoting global citizenship and another on our use of interactive games to encourage global social responsibility.
