Join the National Press Club’s nonprofit Journalism Institute on Monday, March 12th, 2018, featuring the Pulitzer Center's Executive Director, Jon Sawyer, for a panel discussion over the disturbing trend emerging in governments across the globe, challenging the voice and freedom of the press.

The panel will also feature political and national security reporters, advocates, and companies that support the freedom of the press, and will be moderated by Miranda Spivack, professor of journalism at DePauw University in Indiana.

The panel is a part of the National Press Club's Sunshine Week which "celebrates the public’s right to know."

The discussion will begin at 6:30 pm and will be held in the Murrow Room. The event is free but RSVP is required.
