As part of the Pulitzer Center's commitment to promoting diverse perspectives in journalism, Editor Katherine Doyle will be receiving pitches at the NABJ Region I conference on Saturday, April 13, 2019. The regional conference is held at Hampton University's Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communication in Hampton, Virginia.

The Pulitzer Center funds travel costs for reporting projects covering regions and topics of global importance, with an emphasis on under-reported issues in the mainstream American media. Grants are open year-round to all journalists; staff journalists as well as freelancers of any nationality are eligible to apply.
