Join us on Monday, February 26, 2018, for a Talks @ Pulitzer conversation in Washington, D.C., with Pulitzer Center grantee journalists Nahal Toosi and Doug Bock Clark. as they discuss their coverage of the Rohingya people, the situation in Myanmar and conditions in neighboring countries.

Clark's project, "Exploring Myanmar's Conflicted Future," will show his journey across the country, from remote Himalayan villages to the modernizing capital of Yangon. Clark reports on the forces struggling to shape the country’s future, including the ongoing persecution of the Rohingya people, a Muslim ethnic minority that has been widely called "the world’s most persecuted people."

Toosi also has recently returned from her trip to the region to cover the Rohingya crisis with support from the Pulitzer Center. She is a foreign affairs correspondent at POLITICO and a former reporter and editor for the Associated Press in New York, Islamabad, Kabul and London.

Light reception at 5:30 pm, with the program beginning at 6:00 pm.
