Join Pulitzer Center grantee, filmmaker Fiona Lloyd-Davies and founder of Studio 9 Films, in a screening of her documentary "Under the Shadow," a film about how politics, corruption and impunity are affecting the lives of women, men, and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Lloyd-Davies, Vava Tampa, Congolese political youth activist, Sarah Blakemore, director of Keeping Children Safe. Dr. Georgina Holmes, Leverhulme Early Career Fellow at the University of Reading, will chair the discussion.

Lloyd-Davies has been documenting sexual violence in the DRC's eastern provinces for over a decade. "Under the Shadow" stems from her Pulitzer Center-supported reporting project, "Congo: Consequences of a Conflict with No End" and the earlier resulting documentary "Seeds of Hope."
