Join author and investigative journalist Jason Berry on Wednesday, April 2, at Wake Forest University for "Pope Francis and the Church at the Crossroads of Reform," a discussion on the future of a Vatican shaken by sexual and financial scandal.

Berry has published several books, including Render Unto Rome: The Secret Life of Money in the Catholic Church and Vows of Silence: The Abuse of Power in the Papacy of John Paul II. His project for the Pulitzer Center, "The Vatican and the Nuns," explores the Vatican's investigations into American nuns accused of "radical feminism." The project delves into the paradox of a doctrinally conservative yet "pastorally liberal" church.

Berry will share his extensive knowledge of the inner-workings of the Vatican to help illuminate the road that lies ahead for Pope Francis and the Catholic Church.

Wednesday, April 2
6:30 pm

Berry's talk is part of a week-long visit to the Pulitzer Center's Campus Consortium partners in the Triad: Wake Forest University, High Point University and Guilford College.
