•    Sawyer worked at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for 31 years before becoming the founding director of the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.
•    The Pulitzer Center sponsors reporting around the world, focusing on issues that have gone under-reported, misreported – or not reported at all.
