Dameion Brown is an Actor, Artist in Residence at Marin Shakespeare Company, and Formerly Incarcerated Citizen. Dameion performed the title role in Othello at Marin Shakespeare Company in 2016, for which he won the honor of Best Lead Actor from the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. He was also nominated by The Fallstaff Awards as Best Principal Actor. Since then, he has studied On Camera Acting under George Maguire and Stan Roth. Dameion appeared in The Seagull at Utopia Theatre Project, Waafrika and The Farm at TheatreFirst (winning another BATCC award), Dance of the Holy Ghost with Ubuntu, and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing at Marin Shakespeare. He played the lead role in Pericles at Marin Shakespeare Company in July 2018. He’s a Teaching Artist in the Department of Juvenile Justice in Stockton, California, and is now Artist in Residence at MSC.
