Fernanda Wenzel

Fernanda Wenzel is a Brazilian Journalist with a Master in International Relations. After working many years in radio newsrooms, she started one year ago to work exclusively as a freelancer journalist. Her stories about politics, economy, science and social issues were published by Folha de Sao Paulo, BBC Brazil, Valor Econômico, Globo Rural Magazine, Piaui Magazine, among others. In the last two years, Fernanda has been working mainly with stories about environmental menaces and Amazon deforestation. She works as the reporter of a project of ((o))eco and Imazon, to write special stories about the impacts of livestock in the Amazon forest.
