Kaitlyn is a master’s student in Georgetown University’s M.S. in Foreign Service program. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Kansas in 2018. After studying in Russia in the spring of 2016, Kaitlyn spent six months traveling to 53 countries across Eurasia, recording the stories of people living in border regions in the context of border politics.

Over the last three years, Kaitlyn has interned at various think tanks in Washington, D.C. researching and writing on the former Soviet space. In 2019, she received a Critical Language Scholarship to study Russian in the Republic of Georgia. After graduating in May 2020, Kaitlyn looks forward to a career in international relations.
