Katie Mathieson

Katie Mathieson is a senior at Davidson College majoring in Environmental Studies. She is particularly interested in environmental and social justice issues surrounding development and globalization. Her passion for these subjects stems from her time spent in rural Peru and Tanzania in high school and her semester abroad in northeastern Thailand. Katie believes that community-based journalism is crucial to understanding development and globalization.
