Lawrence Andrea

Lawrence Andrea is a freelance reporter currently based in Madison, Wisconsin. He has reported on everything from state and national politics for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and PolitiFact Wisconsin to courts, crime and breaking news for various other newspapers, including USA Today. His recent work includes profile stories on asylum seekers and a motorcycle club. Lawrence is particularly interested in international events, and his work for the Pulitzer Center will explore the difficulties of post-asylum life in Greece.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2020, where he studied journalism, photography, Classics and Arabic.
