As Manager of Visual Arts for D.C. Public Schools (DCPS), Lindsey develops and supports K-12 Visual Arts Curriculum for DCPS teachers, concentrating on the role of trauma and social emotional learning in the classroom and on art within society and contemporary art movements. Lindsey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist and has worked in an array of community mental health settings as a Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist, including: medical, jail diversion, chronically homeless, school-based and out-or-school settings, with children, youth, and families. Lindsey attended the University of Maryland, where she received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Fine Art and Psychology. She holds a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from The George Washington University.
