Samantha Power

Samantha Power served as U.S. ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations from 2013 to 2017 under President Barack Obama. Previously, she served on the National Security Council as special assistant to the president and as senior director for multilateral affairs and human rights. She is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author and a professor at Harvard Law School. Her books include “The Education of an Idealist: A Memoir.” Learn more about Power via her website.
