Shakeeb Asrar

Hailing from Lahore, Pakistan, Shakeeb is a senior at Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University in Qatar. His interests include magazine writing, interactive journalism, civic engagement and writing about his home country, where his Pulitzer Center project is based.

He recently pursued a journalism residency at USA Today in Washington, D.C., and has previously worked for Al Jazeera, Northwestern’s Knight Lab and student-newspaper The Daily Q.
