Sharon Squassoni helps set the iconic Doomsday Clock as a member of the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. Once a nuclear negotiator for the U.S. government, she also helped advise Congress on nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction. Since joining the think-tank world ten years ago, she has been a frequent contributor to U.S. and foreign publications, including Teen Vogue, Fortune, Reuters, Kyodo News, the Guardian, Foreign Policy, Slate and Salon. She currently directs the Proliferation Prevention Program at the Center for Strategic & International Studies.
