Stephen Hobbs

Stephen Hobbs joined the Pulitzer Center on a semester internship through American University's Washington Semester Program. He attends Santa Clara University where he recently finished his collegiate water polo career in the fall. At Santa Clara he was featured as a sideline reporter for an ESPN U broadcast. He also has represented Santa Clara and the West Coast Conference as a student reporter at the West Coast Conference basketball and cross country championships. Stephen is interested in the interconnectedness of sports and politics on a global scale and wants to explore the power of sports around the world. He will graduate in June 2011 with a bachelor's degree in communication and political science.
