Talia Schmitt

Talia Schmitt (’18) is a student at the College of William and Mary majoring in Environmental Science and Latin American Studies. She co-founded a statewide environmental education program, Eco-Schools Leadership Initiative (ESLI). On campus, Talia works as a Sustainability Intern for the College’s Dining Services in which she increases local produce in the cafeterias and connects students with the origins of their food. She works as a research and production assistant for Climate One, a SF climate change discussion forum, and previously interned for the DC Environmental Film Festival. After graduation, Talia plans to go into the field of environmental education, and hopes to continue writing environmental journalism articles.
