Predicting the Coronavirus

Vox is collaborating with an independent data journalist to analyze data sets and tell stories about the projected future of Covid-19 as well as the effectiveness of various interventions to slow the spread of the virus.

The goal is to try to understand the weaknesses in some of the specific policy responses to the pandemic so far, and what can be done to bolster them, given that it may be up to a year or more before a vaccine becomes available as another tool to fight the virus.

Vox will give readers a clearer sense of which policies and practices work best, based on the best evidence, and how to prepare for the next phase in the pandemic.
