The mention highlights the recent photography of Anuj Chopra, stating that his "collection of photos taken in Tehran and Qom explores the intersection of the theocratic state and everyday life in Iran."

As students of journalism in the United States, we often hear that our world is shrinking. With overseas bureaus closing by the day in favor of a few individuals who bring new meaning to the word "multi-task", staff positions are surely an endangered species. While our professors are charged with the job of painting a realistic picture for those of us stubbornly forging ahead, it is difficult not to feel overwhelmed.

On Thursday, February 21, 2008, Jason Motlagh visits with American University journalism students. Just back from India where he reported on the Naxalite insurgency in the Pulitzer Center-sponsored reporting project "India's Backdoor War," Jason will share his experiences with students.

The global information network OneWorld highlights the Pulitzer Center as its featured partner beginning Feb. 1. OneWorld is an organization striving to increase global connections by providing access to news articles, videos and radio clips.
