Community Work in Puerto Rico

This video shares the experiences of volunteers from "Brigada Solidaria del Oeste" and "Rayo De Luna” on the West coast of Puerto Rico. On May 16, 2018, members of Brigada Solidaria traveled to Limón where they planted and harvested vegetables for communities in need. The following day, they visited the "San Fernando" elderly center in Mayagüez to help residents plant seedlings behind the residential center.

On May 31, Brigada Solidaria and Rayo de Luna teamed up to install a water storage and filtration tower at the "Escuela Espino" elementary school in Añasco. Rayo de Luna has installed 36 towers in various places across the island, with each tower capable of providing 1,000 residents with drinkable water daily.
