Photojournalist Moises Saman spent time with Kurdish fighters and others after they reclaimed Sinjar, a former ISIS stronghold in Iraq. Saman was in Iraq with journalist Luke Mogelson for a report in The New Yorker on efforts to reclaim territory captured by ISIS.
