The Whitney R. Harris World Law Institute and the Pulitzer Center present "Seeds of Hope: Can the Women of Congo Dare to Dream of Peace and Justice?" with award-winning filmmaker and photojournalist Fiona Lloyd-Davies.
Lloyd-Davies has been making films and taking pictures about human rights issues in areas of conflict since 1992. Her current Pulitzer Center-supported project focuses on the Congo, the use of rape as a weapon of war and the responsibility to protect.
Her documentary, "Seeds of Hope," makes its St. Louis debut on Sunday, November 17, at 4:30 pm at the Human Rights Spotlight/St. Louis International Film Festival on the campus of Washington University. Free reception follows the Sunday screening.
