On Monday, November 18th, there will be a free screening of Erin McGoff's "This Little Land of Mines" at the Wechsler Theater in Mary Graydon Center of the American University campus. McGoff is a 2017 American University Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow alum who produced and directed the full-length documentary.

The film explores the U.S. "Secret War" in Laos—considered the largest covert CIA operation in U.S. history—and the resiliency of people in Laos living and working amidst the 80 million unexploded bombs that were dropped on them by the CIA from 1964 to 1973. Following the screening of the independent feature documentary, there will be a discussion panel with the director.
