Chile's Vineyards: Grappling with Climate Change

One of the better-known sections in the nation is Casablanca—famous for its production of internationally renowned wine. Although previously considered perfectly suited for growing high quality grapes and transforming them into rich and refreshing beverages, Casablanca is struggling to produce good crops amid warmer weather.

Examining this global issue on a local scale shows how one of Chile’s most profitable industries is contending with changes that negatively affect local communities.
