Meet the Journalist: Teresa Fazio

Less than a year after Sweden's #MeToo movement, known as #givaktochbitihop, or “stand at attention and bite the bullet,” the Swedish military implemented a gender-neutral draft. Women have served in combat arms units for 30 years in Sweden. But it turns out, they have problems of discrimination, sexual harassment and assault just as they do in the U.S. Fazio traveled to several military bases in Sweden to witness their conscript training and see how they’re trying to fix problems from within.
