Global Gateway programs begin in NYC schools

This fall students in select NYC public schools will participate in an intensive news literacy/reporting project focusing on the topic of water. Students will explore this critical issue globally through Pulitzer Center reports, as well as examine the way in which it is represented in the media, and then take on an exploration of the topic in their local communities.

This program was developed in partnership with Baruch College's journalism program and select students in participating schools will be invited to join their peers in a day-long News Literacy Summit at Baruch on Nov. 12th.
