Fred Rahal Mauro

Fred Rahal Mauro is a film documentarist, who has specialized in cinema direction, photography and editing of non-fiction movies. After working for some years in the publicity market, since 2016 he has been dedicated almost exclusively to socioenvironmental issues. He  works closely with Instituto Socioambiental and directors like Tadeu Jungle e Fernando Meirelles. Among his projects are “Eu sou Amazônia” from Google Earth, and “Sob a Pata do Boi," about deforestation and livestock in the Amazon. Now, he is working in the production of two documentaries, one about the use of pesticides in the border of Wawi Indigenous Land, in Parque Indígena do Xingu, and the other about the professional qualification of popular lawyers in areas of rural conflicts.
