"Finding Home" has been nominated in the Outstanding New Approaches: Documentary category for the 2018 News & Documentary Emmy Awards.
This project documents four families at the heart of Europe’s refugee crisis. It’s the story of women and children with no place to call home; it’s about families that, even if they do escape the limbo of refugee camps, may be forced to live in the shadows of Europe for years if not decades; and it’s about a generation of stateless children, born and raised on the run.
Publlished in December 2017 by TIME, "Finding Home" features the work of photographer Lynsey Addario, international correspondent Aryn Baker, and videographer Francesca Trianni. They reported from Thessaloniki, Greece, and followed the lives of several refugee babies and their mothers as they continued into Europe.
Emmy winners will be announced at the 39th annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards on Monday, October 1st, 2018 in New York.
