Meet the Journalists: Ann Hermes and Michael Holtz

The brick-making industry in South Asia has long relied on child and bonded labor. Over the course of two weeks, Michael Holtz and Ann Hermes visited dozens of kilns in Nepal and India to hear the stories of the people who work at them. They also met activists pushing to reform the industry.
