Cara Bucciarelli

Cara Bucciarelli teaches Spanish to students in kindergarten through eighth grade at LaSalle II Magnet School in Chicago Public Schools. She is passionate about helping her students become engaged global citizens. Cara is a National Geographic Explorer, a 2019 Grosvenor Teacher Fellow and an Agent of Change with Chicago Public Schools and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.  She brings the varied perspectives of the Spanish-speaking world into her classroom through interdisciplinary units that celebrate diversity, encourage inquiry, and make the unfamiliar familiar.
