Diana Crandall holds a masters in journalism from the University of Southern California and is a graduate of Capital University. She is the recipient of the 2015 Emerging Photographer Scholarship sponsored by Fujifilm at the Palm Springs Photo Festival. She is a text and photojournalist with training in video and audio journalism, and is currently reporting from Cape Town, South Africa. She was an associate news editor for Neon Tommy and a contributing writer for USA Today College and Elite Daily. Her freelance work has been published in the Los Angeles Times, NBC News, Al Jazeera America and GlobalPost.
