Hayley Smith

Hayley Smith is a 2020 graduate of USC Annenberg, where she received her master’s degree in journalism. A native of Miami, Hayley earned her B.A. in English from NYU before going on to work in copywriting and communications for Oprah Magazine, Sony, and the ASPCA. Her writing has been published in HuffPost, Vogue, Religion News Service, and other outlets. When she’s not scrolling through her newsfeed, she can typically be found doing crossword puzzles or hiking with her dog. She is honored to be a part of the USC COVID-19 project at the L.A. Times.
