Martha Gizaw

Martha Gizaw is a senior at the College of William & Mary, class of 2020. She majors in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys being a member of the Student Assembly, Society of Physics Students, and Robotics Club. As an honors fellow and engineering capstone student, she helps develop sensors for measuring the senior adults’ falls risk at Williamsburg Landing. Her volunteer work at a local Alzheimer’s race ultimately sparked her interest in writing about aging innovation. After graduation, she will apply for admission into graduate programs in engineering and applied science.
