Ending AIDS: The Politics of Possibility

NEW DATE Join Jon Cohen, Kenneth Mayer, Diveena Cooppan and Elaine Abrams at Boston University on Monday, March 20, 2017, for "Ending AIDS: The Politics of Possibility."

Cohen, a reporter for Science since 1990, has covered the HIV/AIDS epidemic for the magazine in more than three dozen countries. He also is a featured author in the Pulitzer Center e-book "To End AIDS." Mayer, a Harvard School of Public Health professor, is the co-chair and founder of The Fenway Institute at Fenway Health. Cooppan is director of Positively Beautiful: A Film about Life & Love in the Age of HIV, which follows five friends with HIV and their daily triumphs with the chronic disease. Abrams is a professor of epidemiology and pediatrics at the Columbia University and a senior research director at ICAP based at the Mailman School of Public Health.

Martha Bebinger, WBUR, Boston University Public Radio, moderates the discussion.
