OneWorld.net featured the Pulitzer Center's "Terror in the Golden Land" reporting project in the April 14 Today's News section of their website. For the project reporter Jacob Baynham investigates the pervasive poverty and human rights abuses occuring in Burma.

"Positive Outlook," a Pulitzer Center-commissioned video that follows one HIV+ campaign speaker as she tries to stamp out the stigma of the disease, aired on DePauw University's The World is Talking television program. The program aired on April 14, 2008.

Another Pulitzer Center-commissioned video, "Talking HIV in Jamaica," will air on the next The World is Talking program.

A former child soldier shared his experiences of the Liberian civil war during a panel discussion on child soldiers Wednesday in the Walsh Building.

Eric Gibson made the decision to leave home when he was 16 years old. "The rebels had 80 percent of the country and the resources," he said. "I said to my mom, 'I have to leave, I have to go behind rebel lines.' What I didn't know was that you go behind rebel lines, it's like you're going into hell and you can't go back to heaven."
